Reporting to the Vice President of Food safety and Loss Prevention, the Director, Regulatory Affairs is accountable for overseeing the regulatory compliance on government legislation and internal Sobeys standards for Private Label brands as well as all Provincial and Federal food regulatory initiatives across Stores, RSCs and Manufacturing environments. Here’s where you’ll be focusing: • Proactively manage upcoming regulatory initiatives to protect Brand integrity, business needs, and mitigate risk to consumers. • Lead the Sobeys Product Recall Process and liaise with government and industry officials on any product removal action.
