Practice Development Nurse/ Clinical Educator Position: Practice Development Nurse/ Clinical Educator Location: East Midlands on the road around Birmingham area Pay: up to £40,000 plus benefits and enhancements Hours – Full time 37.5 hours a week Contract – Permanent Medi Talent are recruiting for a Practice Development Nurse/Clinical Educator to work for our client - a leading private mobile healthcare company based in and around the Birmingham/East Midlands area. You will be working within a virtual wards team to aid staff members in the deliverance of care, mentoring them in up-to-date techniques and providing clinical advice. You will work alongside the Senior Management Team – rolling out the wider group strategy for people development, ensuring Nursing staff are providing exceptional levels of patient care whilst focusing on safety. This company provides many clinical pathways including IV therapy, complex wound therapy, cannulation and phlebotomy – requiring you to be recently experienced in these procedures. This role will require you visiting patients in their homes or driving to various locations, so a full UK driving license is essential for this role. It is essential that you are a Registered Nurse or Practitioner NMC or HCPC, with experience in teaching or education and qualifications such as Cert Ed, PGCE or Masters – as well as mentoring qualification. The right candidate: Must have HCPC/NMC Pin with community nursing experience Have experience of holding a senior position, leading or managing staff Be experienced leading change or managing a project Training qualification – desirable Benefits on offer: Up to 33 day’s holiday Flexible working Company Car or Car Allowance Pension Scheme Ongoing Training.
