This private hospital is comprised of an 8 bedded day surgery unit and theatre complex with 2 treatment rooms, 1 theatre and 4 recovery bays. The clinic offers a range of procedures including spinal, gynae, vascular, general, minor & major orthopaedics – ensuring you an engaging caseload. This is a unique interim opportunity for an experienced senior scrub nurse/practitioner for 3-6 months to come and join their team to help manage the theatre and ward department. Your role may involve: Coordinating and leading the scrub team during surgical procedures, ensuring proper instrument and supply preparation. Collaborating with surgical staff, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. You will oversee the maintenance of sterile techniques and adherence to infection control protocols. You will assist in surgical setup, including arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for procedures. The ideal candidate must hold a valid NMC/HCPC pin number as well as already having experience in leadership and scrub. Your skills will help you grow in an extremely supportive and nurturing environment, where value and respect of staff are of utmost importance. Skills required: Must have NMC/HCPC.
