The Role: As a Nursing Services Manager, you will assist DNS in managing nursing services, ensuring high standards, and overseeing evidence-based clinical practices. Responsibilities: Efficiently conduct agreed clinical audits, presenting trends to the Director of Nursing Services. Monitor and collect clinical data for KPI reports, highlighting risks and concerns. Maintain up-to-date clinical manuals, operational standards, and competency checklists. Lead MDT meetings in DNS absence. Ensure appropriate senior clinical cover and provide on-call backup as needed. Collaborate with Medical Consultant, Chief Executive, senior managers, external professionals, and funding authorities as needed. Ensure the provision of mandatory, organisational, and professional training for all staff. Take precautions to prevent infection risks within the hospital. Undertake specific investigations and projects as needed. Adhere to the Health and Safety at work act and report accidents, incidents, hazards, and risk management. Requirements: Previously worked as a Nursing Services Manager or in a similar role. Relevant clinical knowledge and good understanding of CQC standards. Experience in clinical audit and quality improvement. Current NMC registration. Strong management skills. Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
