Substation Design Engineer Requirements: Layout of the substation site to include equipment and steel structures. Relay settings and panel design, placement of the conduit, fencing and gate design to include grounding, SCADA, Arc-flash studies, substation protection, grounding system design, specification of equipment and materials, transformer change outs, bus work upgrades/replacement, relay pane.
