Under direct supervision: Plan and perform engineering research, design development and other assignments in conformance with design, engineering and customer specifications. Engineering support Work with Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) and processing of LiDAR data Work with GPS and Navigation products and systems Ability to work with hand tools and power tools Along with assisting the AEVEX Engineering team on current programs the Engineering Intern will be given a summer long project of their choosing to complete. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Qualification & Education: Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree Program in Engineering or applicable technical field Detail oriented and capable with working in a team environment Experience in the following software tools is preferred but not all required MATLAB Solidworks Microsoft Visio About AEVEX Aerospace AEVEX Aerospace, headquartered in Solana Beach, California, supports the U.S. national security mission around the world by providing full-spectrum airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance solutions.
