Journeyman Job Description Reports directly to whom: Field Superintendent Directly supervises whom/what: Tasks and duties assigned by field super to complete construction jobs Role: To assist the other field personnel in bringing jobs in on time and t or under budget. Tasks and Duties: Participate job talk meeting each morning before starting work (5 min) Assist in loading the trucks for installation projects Assist in unloading and setting equipment Install ductwork, piping, wiring, PVC, etc. Keep work area clean Any other tasks and duties required to assist the field supervisors in successfully completing installation projects. Periodic work in the warehouse and other departments as seasonality requires Job Requirements: Regular and punctual attendance. Ability to work overtime if needed (and approved) Mechanical Aptitude EPA Certification (at least type 1 and 2) Able to successfully pass a background check and drug test Must be able to work on ladders (up to 40') and rooftops Must have required tools (per tool list) Maintains Company Core Values: Honest, Respectful, Knowledgeable, Client-Focused, Efficient, and Profitable Physical Requirements: Must be able to see well enough to read reports, data, schematics and drawings. Must be able to hear well enough to communicate on the telephone and in person. Must be able to use your fingers for grasping, feeling. Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift to 100 pounds and reach. Will be required to carry, lift, push, or pull. Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, and be able to crawl on hands and knees for at least 30 feet. Experience: Must have been a Crawford Apprentice for a minimum of 4 years and completed Journeyman training, or equivalent work experience elsewhere.
