Improvement Coach The improvement coach position will inspire and support health centers with identifying, developing, and executing quality improvement initiatives that ultimately will assist them in delivering the highest quality of care to their patients. The coach will engage with health centers in multiple program areas, including clinical care, outreach and enabling services, and social drivers of health, and lead the development of community health worker programs. The coach must be an effective champion and encourager with demonstrated experience in process improvement. Key duties include training, leading, and facilitating process improvement to support activities that improve systems and processes critical to achieving safe, timely, effective, efficient, and equitable patient-centered care. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a health care-related field is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered. Deep understanding of quality improvement methodologies with demonstrated experience leading process improvement initiatives. Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills, including strong communication, presentation and training/meeting facilitation skills. Preference will be given to individuals with experience working in a federally qualified health center or public health setting. Experience and knowledge of electronic health records (EHRs) . Strong organizational skills and the ability to clearly define priorities, coordinate activities, and work independently. Experience in project management required, with preference given to candidates with a project management certification and/or experience working with project management software tools. Maintain compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
