Benefits Competitive Salary Major Health Insurance Carrier Dental Health Insurance Vision Insurance 401K - match 50% Short term Disability Responsibilities: Operate all assembly stations and/or perform other duties according to specific job instructions that supports the assembly operation as a whole Problem solve automation problems as they arise Follow work instructions and verbal directions to meet targeted production quotas Ensure that only quality parts are passed onto the next operation, notify supervisor of quality related problems immediately Complete all necessary documentation (production reports, quality alerts etc.) correctly and in a timely manner. Ask for assistance as required Assist all associates on your assigned line to ensure production and quality standards are obtained as needed. Abide by all company polices including, but not limited to the following; Health and safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human resources policies, and Martinrea Employee Handbook Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards and legislation including Environmental Legislation, for Industrial Establishments, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act Understand and be compliant with all State and Provincial laws as it relates to Harassment and Violence in the workplace Competency Level all systems where personnel need to have an intermediate understanding of the processes and interactions as determined by the team Working Conditions Working in a factory environment Frequent distractions and interruptions Multiple demands in a challenging and fast paced- team orientated environment PPE required on plant floor Effort/Physical Demands Constant standing with occasional bending Noisy environment Constant communication with employees, peers and management Possible use of computer and dispatch radio Overtime as required Lifting as required Health and Safety Responsibilities Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company Rules, Plant Rules, policies and procedures Must use or wear equipment, protective devices or certain clothing as required by the company Must wear all designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Must report all accidents and near misses to your Supervisor Back-up Duties: Perform other duties as required
