Kirton McConkie, a large Salt Lake City law firm, has an exciting employment opportunity for a highly skilled Immigration Support Specialist to join its dynamic International/Immigration Team. Responsibilities Prepare visa petitions with immigration team. Prepare applicants, including executives, for visa interviews. Assist in resolving consular U.S. visa denials. Assist clients in implementing the transfer of employees abroad. Coordinate global work projects with local legal counsel outside the United States. Qualifications Excellent technical and persuasive writing, communication, and analytical skills to independently review, draft, and prepare documents. Create positive client interactions through understanding and communicating information effectively in writing, by phone, by e-mail, or in person. An ability to manage and process a large volume of cases, set own work priorities, and meet work deadlines is essential. Position requires discretion, independent judgment, and critical thinking skills. Prior U.S. immigration experience is required. Preference may be given to applicants who can read and compose emails in Spanish and English. Paralegal degree or Bachelor's Degree required. Competitive compensation (DOE) and excellent benefit package. Qualified candidates should submit a cover letter and resume that clearly describes their prior U.S. immigration experience.
