CHILD CARE SUBSIDY COORDINATOR Join a small but mighty team dedicated to fulfilling the mission of The Resource Connection by engaging families, enriching lives, and empowering communities in Amador and Calaveras Counties. Here at Child Care Resource and Referral, we are looking for a compassionate team member who understands our community's needs and diversities and has a heart for service. This position is for a Subsidy Coordinator with the passion and skill for conducting interviews with parents to determine family eligibility and evaluate the need for subsidized child care services per State Guidelines. The position requires the ability to pay attention to details to accurately enroll and process new families, recertifications of families, and update family information changes according to established policies and procedures by complying with Federal, State, and Agency rules and regulations. The Child Care Subsidy Coordinator must adhere to agency practices, have good judgment, remain professional, and have experience working with families. Full-Time Position : Monday - Thursday/32 hours per week Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Benefits: We offer a full range of full- time benefits including health insurance at a cost of $75.00 a month for employee only coverage. 13 paid holidays, sick leave, vacation time, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP). After meeting eligibility requirements, you may elect to have dental, vision, AFLAC and a 401k plan available for election and dependent coverage subject to the cost of the plan. Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalency Two years' experience working in an office performing clerical duties and experience working in a position determining eligibility for financial assistance, insurance or a similar work environment. Completion of 12 semester units in early childhood education preferred Two years' experience in one of the following preferred: child care, child development, family services or community resources.
