POSITION SUMMARY Exhibitus is seeking talented, motivated and ambitious Experiential and EngagementDesigners and Technicians to join our creative teams in Chicago and Atlanta. Thesuccessful candidates have a passion for art, design and technology while maintainingan understanding for real world production and applications for our clients' brands.Experience in our industry is not an absolute must for this position.An Experiential/Engagement Designer is responsible for the discovery, research,ideation, and creative development of innovative ways to connect audiences with ourclients' brands. Projects typically activate into branded exhibits, events, environments,and experiential marketing scenarios.This person has a pulse on industry trends, dynamic technologies, and engaging waysto deliver brand and product stories. The ability to ideate, write and present concepts arecore components of this role. A collaborative spirit is also essential as you'll be workingside by side with a creative team: creative directors, graphic, digital, and environmentaldesigners.You might have a passion for digital interactive design or be driven to design/fabricatesculptural structures to convey your ideas. WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING: • Develop ideas and guidance for engagement development• Bring industry trends, latest and greatest in integrated technologies• Participate in creative brainstorms, meetings and presentations• Rapidly generate ideas, research and reference images• Contribute to the visualization of concepts with visuals, design mock-ups etc• Oversee engagement development from concept to completion of projects• Collaborate closely with creative and account teams• Participate in internal and external client and account meetings SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS • BFA in industrial design, architectural design, exhibit design, theater set design, interior orequivalent• 0 - 5 years of industry related experience• understanding of technologies, materials & techniques• Ability to understand a brand at its core and then translate it into other experiential mediums• Exceptional design aesthetics and ability to constantly adapt to meet a breadth of brandstyles and mediums, including environmental, video, digital, and storytelling• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills across all mediums• High performance/high productivity mentality• Adobe Creative Suite experience• On-site installation and support• Coding and web development (Python, C++, Javascript, .....)• App development for URL triggering via touch sensors.• Touchscreen app development• Animation capabilities a plus• Understanding of photography and image manipulation techniques• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a creative team• Excellent visual communication skills (sketching (analogue or digital), rendering, layouts)• Excellent presentation skills (written, visual and verbal)• Organizational skills• Exceptional time management skills - ability to balance multiple projects at one time whileensuring quality and consistency.• Travel 10% - 20%
