POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Manager will spend 70% of the time leading all recruitment activities and 30% of the time assisting the HRD with HR generalist activities including employee relations, college relations and employee engagement ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Material responsibilities and essential duties which must be completed in achieving the objectives of the position: Ensures alignment of HR policies, procedures, and processes with HR Director Manages recruiting and hiring process to include: Conducting intake calls for all position openings both due to turnover and new business. Evaluating submitted resumes of candidates for open positions and ensure an application has been completed Conducting screening interviews and presenting to hiring managers. Following DE&I best practices as developed by DE&I Counsel. Updating weekly recruiting report for senior Conducts Bi-Annual Stay Interviews and assists with additional employee engagement tactics. Serves as a liaison between management and front-line staff to resolve issues and assist with performance management. Determines HR best practices to supports organizational direction in conjunction with HR Director. Conducts appropriate manager/supervisory training as it relates to HR process and policies day to day management of the HR function/activities utilizing best practices. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/REQUIRED PROFICIENCIES Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required. 3-5 of human resource management and recruiting experience required SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.
