A community bank in South Mississippi is seeking a qualified candidate to join the executive management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO directs and oversees the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities of the Bank and Holding Company, including the Bank's Accounting and Investment Departments. The CFO plays a role in managing investor and shareholder relations. Additionally, the CFO assists with the management of employee benefit plans. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field is required. Master's Degree is preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial management required. Prior experience in finance or accounting in a community or regional bank is strongly preferred. Knowledge of SEC rules and experience in SEC filings is required. Must be knowledgeable of federal and state banking laws and regulations, proficient with Microsoft Office products, and possess strong organization skills. CPA license preferred.
