Signals Analyst II Location: Anne Arundel County, Maryland Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly As a Signals Analyst II, you will be responsible for operating signal collection, processing, and analysis equipment; analyzing signals from recordings or in a live environment; and collaborating with analysts throughout the Intelligence Community and maintain awareness of analysis projects being worked on a particular signal. The Signal Analyst prepares complex technical reports detailing the analysis results and presents technical briefings on analysis findings to members of the intelligence community in accordance with Government direction and customer requirements. Who You Are and What You Need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Signal Analyst supporting the IC or USG military required. What You Will Do: Support a range of analytical products and functions to allow for development of signal exploitation capabilities. Determine signal characteristics of waveforms or bit level necessary for the exploitation of signals of interest. Perform the collection, evaluation, and documentation of recordings of new or previously unexploited data. Translate analytical results into briefings to communicate characteristics of signal for identification and/or exploitation. Provide guidance to developers and operators of signal characteristics at the waveform or bit level necessary for the exploitation of signals of interest. Oversee the development, deployment or collection, documentation and evaluation of recordings of new or previously unexploited data. Provide analytical and operational support for tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems. Maintain mission status on assigned tactical and strategic systems. Perform mission planning and projections to anticipate future resource requirements to counter identified threats. Develop briefing reports that depict assessment of systems availability. Provide guidance to signal teams in overall conduct of projects that are essentially signal related. Oversee the development, deployment or collection, documentation and evaluation of recordings of new or previously unexploited signal data. Support a range of analytical products and functions including operational support for tactical and strategic mission intelligence systems. Analyze complex system integration requirements to identify mission vulnerability targets and develop multiple scenarios to resolve all mission threats. Translate analytical results into briefings. Analyze operational availability of strategic and tactical intelligence assets.
