This Operating Room Administrative Assistant position comes with a competitive starting wage of $18-$20/hour based on education and years of experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN OPERATING ROOM ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT As an Operating Room Administrative assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver patient-focused care at all times. Duties include: Confirming scheduled appointments and procedures Scanning and uploading patient files Scheduling accurate patient transportation to and from the facility Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume environment Ensure company protocols are followed Assist OR staff in any other duties as assigned Work with attention to detail and efficiency QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma (GED) is minimum requirement. Preferred - Graduated from an accredited Medical Administrative Assistant program with certification OR eligibility to obtain certification Ability to sit for extended periods of time Ability to multi-task and prioritize Ability to handle high volume of scanning accurately Bi-lingual in Spanish is a must ABOUT ILLINOIS ORTHOPEDIC NETWORK Illinois Orthopedic Network (ION) is an orthopedic practice specializing in workers' compensation and personal injuries.
