Milford Public SchoolsA C-1 school district located 20 miles west of Lincoln seeks qualified applicants to fill the following position for the 2020-21 school year:Elementary Guidance CounselorGeneral Job Description:1. Provide a developmentally appropriate and preventative guidance program for all students. 2. Communicate clearly and concisely, both oral and written, with school personnel, students, families and the community.3. Facilitate the assessment of social-emotional competencies and the development of social-emotional skills in individual and group settings.4. Provide training and support to school staff regarding student mental health issues.5. Monitor the overall effectiveness of social-emotional interventions.6. Assist the building principal and staff with the development and implementation of behavior plans for individual students.7. Serve as a contributing member of the district crisis team.Qualifications:1. Nebraska Department of Education School Counselor Endorsement.2.
