General Manager Pub with rooms Wigan Full Time : 40 hour contract We are excited to be working with a fantastic client who is looking for a General Manager for a busy site with rooms in Wigan. We are looking for an enthusiastic manager or assistant manager coming from a wet led background for this busy community local offering a great selection of cask ales and draught beers to its loyal regular customers. This fantastic site has 11 rooms, with a large emphasis on live sport, music, events, darts and pool. Role Responsibilities: - Oversee all operations of the business including team development, stock management, driving sales, room occupancy, events and guest service. - Communicate effectively with the team to ensure that all events are being marketed efficiently. - Cellar Management : being a wet led business it is imperative that all cask and draught products are kept well and served to a high standard. - Handle any customer questions or queries in a professional and productive manner. - Monitor and analyse the financial performance of the site identifying any areas for improvement. Ideal candidate Profile: - A strong character generating from a busy wet led business. - Expert cellar management skills able to keep and maintain excellent quality. - Excellent customer service skills : able to deal with any queries or complaints in a productive and professional manner. - Highly organised bring ideas that will drive and develop the business. - Able to build and develop relationships in the local community.
