Commercial Delivery Driver Class A and B

Description:
We are looking for Class A and B drivers for loading, transporting, and delivering produce to clients in a safe and timely manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· Responsible for driving a truck for the purpose of delivering, unloading and pickup various products for our customers.· Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-50 pounds, up to 100 pounds; frequently reach up to 72" to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart; constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from trailer..· Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and Daylight Foods policies and procedures.· Complete Department of Transportation (DOT) logs (electronic or manual as required), company vehicle maintenance reports and reconcile with appropriate company representative as required.· Must be able to follow California labor code 512(a) related lunches and break policy and House of Services (HOS)· Good attendance and adherence to work schedule (early morning start time), working on weekend.· Other duties s assignedKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES:· Must be able to perform all job functions safely· Excellent customer service skills a must· Must be able to operate manual Commercial vehicle· Must be able to work schedule dispatch/assigned times· Experience using manual/ electronic DOT log sheets· Conducting Safety Inspections Pre/Post Trip Inspections· Good understanding of DOT Rules and Regulations· Able to lift up to 50lbs· Route --Multi stop experienceEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:· Education/Training: Must have at least 1 yr commercial driving experience and clean Motor Vehicle Report. Must be able to read, write, and communicate English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.· Must have a valid CDL and DOT Medical CardPowered by JazzHR
