Our values define our approach to care, our culture, and our working relationships, and include: Extending Welcome Embracing Diversity Affirming Dignity Respecting One Another Embodying Compassion Increasing Knowledge and Pursuing Justice Job Summary: Under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Supervisor, the RN plans, administers and assists in all activities on a sub-acute Nursing Unit, in a manner consistent with The New Jewish Home mission, vision and values. Job Duties: Participates in, monitors and reports about the quality of life and care issues of residents/clients. Participates in the assessment of residents/clients. Participates in the management of the Environmental of Care as it relates to the safety of residents/clients and staff. Participates in the surveillance, prevention and control of infection, by adhering to and ensuring compliance of staff with infection control policies and procedures. Performs other related duties as directed. Skills & Requirements Job Requirements: Currently licensed to practice as Registered Professional Nurse in New York State. Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred. Minimum of 2 years acute care experience preferred. BCLS required and IV Therapy certification preferred. Rotating Weekends and Holidays required Per Diem, Part-Time and Full-Time openings vary by shift Shift Option(s): Day - 7am - 3pm SIGN ON BONUS $5,000 PRO-RATED FOR PART TIME
