Management Accountant – UK Hospitality Group Role: Management Accountant Location: Central London Salary: £45k to £50k Reporting into: Finance Controller This is a very dynamic and young restaurant group with truly authentic flavours. Their restaurants are very successful and full of character. As they’re expanding, they are looking to expand their Finance team. You will be working as a link between the Finance Assistant and the Finance Controller, and have some kind of hospitality, ideally multi-site experience. You will also ensure adequate and appropriate financial controls, processes and procedures exist in respect of day-to-day financial functions, whilst assisting with the year-end audit. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of period-end management accounts, including prepayments, accruals and posting journals Ownership of producing P&L with variance analysis and commentary. Processing payroll with support from a third-party payroll bureau. Producing various weekly and monthly reporting, with variance analysis and follow-up. Ownership of Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger low volume. Nurture and support the professional development of 2 accounts assistants. Assisting with year-end audit. Assisting with budget and forecast processes. Ad hoc projects of the Finance Team, as required. The successful candidate: Be part-qualified in either ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Experience in multi-site hospitality is preferred. Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience in Advanced Exchequer accounting software is desirable but not essential.
