Skills and Objectives Develop a love of and appreciation for drama and performance in students from PreK to 8th Grade. Learn and apply basic skills in a variety of ways using a variety of methods Work as a team with your colleagues in the Music and Unified Arts Department. Demonstrate expertise in classroom management. Develop strong relationships with students where they see themselves as learners. Provide a learning environment that supports student agency and growth. Follow all school guidelines and regulations/procedures. Take on additional duties as needed, including supervising students. Grow the drama program at LCCPS Conduct parent and community outreach to support the specialist program. Prepare and lead students in performances, both in LCCPS and in the community. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university MA Department of Education Certification required Experience working in an urban setting a plus.
