Salary: $46,092 - $58,741 Grade: 12 The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Research Coordinator position at the Cognitive Development and Neuroimaging Lab in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The selected candidate will coordinate the Covid-19 Mother Baby Outcomes (COMBO) research project and provide support with behavioral and MRI data collection. The selected candidate will also be responsible for data organization, quality assurance, and analyses with opportunities to publish conference abstracts and papers. The selected candidate must have a strong interest and/or experience in cognitive neuroscience research, particularly in developmental populations (infant, children, and adolescents). The incumbent must have occasional flexibility in their schedule (working evenings/weekends). Duties and Responsibilities: The Research Assistant will be responsible for the following: - Recruit study participants, screen potential participants to determine eligibility - Coordinate study visits, maintain communication with participant families - Collect neuroimaging data - Help with experimental paradigm development and lab administration duties including managing IRB protocols and training other lab members - Administer clinical and neuropsychological assessments - Assist with data management and analysis - Proficiently use all standard productivity software (Microsoft Office, email, calendars, etc). - Work independently, be self-motivated, and positively contribute to labs aims and objectives. - Perform other tasks, duties, and responsibilities as required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Computer Science and at least 1.5 years of related experience or equivalent in education. Candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. 1-2 years experience with recruiting research participants, coordinating with families and clinical supervisor, and collecting behavioral and/or clinical data. . Availability: Candidates must be able to work on weekends. Preferred Qualifications: Preference will be given to individuals: With prior experience working with infants - with prior experience collecting neuroimaging data for MRI studies - certified in infant CPR - with strong computational, statistical, and technical skills (e.g. fluency with Matlab, Python, and/or R) -with experience analyzing neuroimaging data (SPM, FSL, AFNI, or similar platforms) - Masters degree preferred RFMH employees may be required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 depending on work location and must provide proof of vaccination. Individuals that are not vaccinated for COVID-19 are ineligible for appointment to positions that require vaccination. Fully vaccinated is defined as two (2) or more weeks since receiving either the second dose in a two-dose COVID-19 vaccination series (e.g., Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or the first and only dose of a single-dose vaccine (e.g., Johnson & Johnson [J&J]/Janssen).
