Apply for position at: www.star3.com Location: US IN-Bloomington Employee Type: Full-Time/ Exempt Travel Required: Yes - less than 10% Relocation Accommodation: Yes - up to $3,000 Approximate Start Date: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection Posting Close: Upon Suitable Candidate Selection TRISTAR is seeking a Software Tester for our Federal Government Contract located in Bloomington IN Position Description: Designs, develops, and implements test and evaluation strategies, plans and methods to assure reliability of systems in conjunction with system specifications Ensure systems comply with requirements and standards through formal verification methods Coordinates system integration, test, evaluation, and transition activities with customer and team Conducts readiness for system integration, test, evaluation and transition activities Compiles data and defines changes required in testing configurations, testing procedures, testing processes, or new testing requirements Implements testing processes and ensures all test activities follow those processes Produces reports on each test activity and tracks test metrics Performs analysis and evaluations of systems under test Assesses performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive system evaluation reports and risk assessments Position Responsibilities: Execution of both manual and automated test and test cases Analyze results Evaluate product code according to specifications Create logs to document testing phases and defects Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing Position Requirement: 5+ years of experience in software testing or development Methodical approach, yet actively engaged with team and project PowerShell experience a must in creating or running scripts VMWare working experience, specifically with ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN Cisco networking background Working knowledge of servers, switches, and routers Ability to debug software code Some C# experience Support hardware and software in test environments Must be a US Citizen An active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree Security Plus Certification required before start date COVID Policy: TRISTAR does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters.
