Santa Fe Water Systems is a unique fabrication and distribution business in the construction material industry has an immediate opening for a talented individual to join our team to make an immediate impact on our sales team. For 32 years, the company has been the industry leader and the go-to supplier providing solutions and fabricated products such as pipes, valves, and fabricated water management products for the water reclamation and purification industry. We are seeking an experienced individual to focus on building relationships and selling our capabilities in the instrumentation, valve and pump equipment markets. This is an exciting opportunity with large growth potential as the company is expanding into additional territories, product lines and markets. **Qualified candidates must be based in Arizona with an understanding of the municipal water market and the ability to make outside sales calls.** Position Responsibilities include: Identify and establish contact with potential customers Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic Generate and submit sales reports to management Be knowledgeable about Instrumentation, Pumps, Valves, and other related products Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems Negotiate prices and terms and prepare sales agreements Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships Position Qualifications: Education: Some college or equivalent in experience & education (Business related Bachelor's Degree preferred) 3+ Years experience in related Outside Business-to-Business Sales with a proven track record of success Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
