Notetaker NOTETAKER Cambridge University Of Anglia Ruskin Part time, temporary GBP10.42 : per hour Are you an individual that is enthusiastic about making a difference in peoples lives? Then Randstad may just have the perfect role for you. Randstad Student and Worker Support are looking for reliable and committed individuals to work with students in Cambridge to provide specialist note taking support for students living with disabilities. Working as a manual notetaker you will be required to attend a variety of lectures and seminars and take accurate notes for students who struggle to make their own notes. Benefits: Flexible working hours E: learning and CPD 28 days holiday pay pro rata GBP10.42 per hour : you will receive this rate, plus holiday pay Working for the UKs leading provider Improving your knowledge for free by being a part of higher education lectures Opportunities to work remotely Responsibilities: Producing accurate and legible notes for lectures, seminars/tutorials and group tasks Work closely with Randstad regarding students, address any concerns immediately Maintain confidentiality of the student : do not disclose any information regarding students to anyone outside other than randstad Attend lectures at the university before the lecture begins so you are prepared and will not miss any part of the lecture Produce high quality notes which will be in the students preferred format Making notes based on the needs of the student and what has been discussed Review the notes after each lecture Provide notes to the student in a timely manner Maintaining a professional relationship with the student at all times Work within the policies and regulations of the university Requirements: Have neat handwriting Able to produce notes in a legible and presentable manner Good typing skills : preferable Accurate spelling and grammar skills Punctuality and reliability You will need to be able to work quickly and under time restrictions.
