Job Description Job Title : Laboratory Chemist Job Type: Permanent - Part time Location : Great Yarmouth Hours : 22.5 hours - 3 days per week Main Purpose of Role Deliver consistently high standards of analytical performance whilst ensuring the laboratory meets ISO 17025 requirements (accredited by UKAS). Adhere to documented laboratory procedures. Subject to pre- authorisation backssment, issuance of reports direct to clients via cclas. Perform sampling and analysis to recognised international methods and approved procedures. Key Accountabilities Demonstrate compliance with international and company approved test methods, procedures and quality systems. Essential criteria for ISO 17025 accreditation and adherence to SGS Laboratory Quality Systems. Liaise with senior staff member regards any issues with equipment, Identify improvements to current laboratory operations in order to maximise equipment availability and ensure technical standards are maintained and improved.
