This full-time, in-person position will support and lead the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium's (CPIC) gene function expert panels and provide literature reviews for CPIC guidelines. The Scientist will: Collect and analyze pharmacogenomics information from scientific literature and other sources. Accurately and efficiently abstract information in the required format, writing educated summaries of pharmacogenomics findings, and integrating and analyzing the collected data to inform pharmacogenomic associations and recommendations. Lead gene expert panels through the CPIC allele function SOP Perform evidence reviews for CPIC guidelines Write manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication. The ideal candidate will have: Master's or Ph.D. degree in scientific field and three years of relevant experience or combination of relevant experience. The ability to understand and/or become familiar with the scientific literature and experimental procedures and their limitations. Track record of reviewing scientific data, writing and publishing peer-reviewed manuscripts required. Strong skills in identifying and annotating pharmacogenomic information from the scientific literature. Minimum Education and/or Training: Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required. Minimum Experience: Seven (7) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required Five (5) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a Master's degree Three (3) years of relevant post-degree work experience is required with a PhD Compensation In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $86,320 - $154,960 per year for the role of Scientist - Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC).Explore our exceptional benefits !
