Closing Date: April 26, 2024 Reporting to the Senior Supervisor, Mine Water Management & Closure Planning, the Engineer, Water Integrated Planning is responsible for managing and supporting the implementation of mine water management tools, completion of water infrastructure cost estimation, data collection, supporting development of processes, and tracking of water Key Performance Indicators. You will ensure use of the water balance model to support sustainable Operations, in alignment with compliance requirements, Regional Water Quality Modelling, and Teck Water Governance Framework. To be successful, we require someone with strong influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills. Someone who thrives in a team environment, who also shows the values of integrity, dedication, innovation, excellence, and respect. Strong influential leadership, mentoring and relationship building skills are vital in this role. You will have the opportunity to work at an operating steel-making coal surface mine, with an exciting and vital team to our operations success. The work you do will ensure the ongoing sustainability of our mine. In this role you will also have the chance to look for opportunities for innovation to ensure continuous improvement of our water management program.
