Overview: The Primavera Construction Scheduler plays a vital role within the construction management team and is responsible for planning, scheduling, and overseeing the timelines of construction projects. Utilizing Primavera software, the scheduler ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to project specifications. This role requires a deep understanding of construction processes and project management principles and the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Supervisory Responsibilities: This role has no direct reports. Duties/Responsibilities: Develop detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, using Primavera P6 software. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather all necessary data for schedule development and updates. Monitor project progress against the established schedule, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track. Generate and present regular progress reports, including schedule updates, to project teams and stakeholders. Conduct risk analysis on schedules and provide mitigation strategies. Ensure that all project documentation is accurately reflected in the schedule and maintained up to date. Facilitate scheduling meetings and workshops with project teams to ensure alignment and address any scheduling concerns. The capability to critique schedule data and communicate to the project stakeholders, the impact of that analysis is a must. Train and mentor junior scheduling staff and team members on the use of Primavera software. Cross-train in all facets of the Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time. The person in this role will uphold the culture of J.F. Electric, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on J.F. Electric or client premises or at J.F. Electric-sponsored events. Requirements/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 software. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction scheduling or project management. Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams. Knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant regulations. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in an office setting, with extended periods of sitting and working on a computer. May require occasional visits to construction sites, necessitating the ability to navigate uneven terrain, climb stairs, and withstand various weather conditions. Must be able to frequently communicate with team members and stakeholders, requiring clear speech and hearing. Occasional lifting of project files or documents, typically not exceeding 15 pounds. Travel Requirements: This position may require travel to project sites, meetings, or workshops, depending on the project's location and stage. Travel frequency is project-dependent but generally could range from 10% to 30% of the time. At J.F.
