The shop team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Pharmacist. The successful pharmacist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday.The shop team at Maxxima are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Pharmacist. The successful pharmacist will be working full-time hours across Monday to Friday. We are looking for a pharmacist with previous aseptic experience. Position: Pharmacist Banding: 7Location: Manchester Hours: 37.5 hours per week Duration: Ongoing contract Typical duties include: - Participate in the aseptic manufacture of diagnostic and therapeutic radiomedicals - To comply with requirements of Good Manufacturing Practice Undertake routine monitoring and maintenance of the Radioshop clean room suite and associated equipment - Maintain suitable levels of both stock and non-stock items in the Radioshop. - Dispose of radioactive waste in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures - Facilitate good medicines management including stock rotation, removal of excess and expired stock - Contribute to procurement activities to ensure adequate and responsive stock holding - Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety at work act and the control of substances hazardous to health regulations - Undertake any other tasks appropriate to capabilities of the role Essential skills: - Experience of aseptic manufacturing techniques for sterile medicinal products using a negative pressure isolator - Experience of aseptic manufacturing operations for preparation and testing of radiomedical - Experience of handling radioactive materials - GPHC Registered - Clinical Experience - Relevent UK experience Why work with Maxxima The minute you register with us we make it about one thing: you.
