Position Overview Under the general supervision of the PROGRAM TEAM MANAGER, MEDICINE, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital, the RESPIRATORY NURSE CLINICIAN works within the Medicine Program to maintain and improve the quality of care to patients requiring specialized respiratory support through clinical practice, education and research; and by performing other related duties as assigned. Experience Minimum five (5) years related clinical experience. Demonstrated clinical and teaching expertise. Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Baccalaureate of Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Working knowledge of community agencies and programs. Post-basic course in advanced backssment and nursing skills required (e. g. ICU Program). Certification/Licensure/Registration CRNM registration required. Active participation in professional associations e. g. Association of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred. Qualifications and Skills Demonstrated effective interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated backssment, interviewing, counselling and organizational skills.
