Void Business Support Officer – Southwark Temp Vacancy Umbrella Pay Rate: £19.95ph Full-Time 37 hours Job Purpose: To support delivery of the Void process. To operate and maintain administrative processes in support of wider business objectives of Supported Housing Services specific to void properties. Accountabilities: To undertake Void property support duties under the direction of the Voids manager. To handle and maintain confidential and commercially sensitive information professionally. To upload void specifications in line with schedules of work. To act as a liaison between the Voids and lettings team and repairs business team. To input and process payments for authorisation in accordance with financial procedures and within the limits of authorising officers. To provide direct support and advice in resolving issues and identify and recommend improvements that may require changes in procedures To work independently and on own initiative on assigned work-streams; backssing and resolving issues, in line with policies and procedures, escalating more complex issues where appropriate To manage external stakeholders and resident enquiries on behalf of the Void and Letting void process. To work in a collaborative and supportive way with internal departments to ensure successful administration and delivery of all work To develop and maintain appropriate relationships with relevant organisations, effectively representing the organisation internally and externally in a professional and appropriate manner. To assist and support the Supported housing business unit as appropriate in any other duties commensurate with the accountabilities of this role. To handle and maintain confidential and commercially sensitive information provided. To provide support for a range of programmes, utilising ICT and other systems to produce, review and report on project progress and financial status through effective communication with project teams including verbal and.
