SUMMARY Processes patient orders of home medical products in the Daavlin Home Sales Division. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Responsible for assisting patients and processing orders. Responds to customer inquiries by phone, fax, email, text, mail, or chat. Is knowledgeable about Daavlin products and therapies. Provides product information and ordering documents. Assists patients in decisions regarding product selection and best purchase method according to their insurance situation. Monitors order progress and communicates with patients and doctors. Performs verification of benefits / deductibles, files prior-authorizations as needed. Sends referrals to distributors, as required. Maintains contact with distributor to assure that patient’s needs are met. Follows up with patients to encourage order placement. Offers cash pricing and payment plans. Performs pre-shipping call with patient, verifying shipping address as well as confirming product specifications. All other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
