Job Description: Network Designs, Inc. is seeking an experienced Training Specialist to join our team, responsible for organizing and conducting moderately complex training and educational programs tailored for both information systems (technical) personnel and user (non-technical) personnel. The Training Specialist will develop instructional curriculum and materials, gather and assimilate subject matter information, and organize and condense this material into comprehensive course outlines, handouts, and visual aid materials. This role requires close coordination with subject matter experts to ensure that prepared courses meet the outlined objectives and maintain the highest quality of training delivery. Additionally, the Training Specialist is tasked with maintaining records of training activities, assessing program effectiveness, and may also be required to instruct or oversee the preparation of automated training materials such as video-recorded sessions and computer-aided tutorials. Requirements: • U.S. Citizenship is required. • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance as required by contract. • This position is onsite at a DOJ location in Falls Church, VA. Skills and Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years related experience or 7+ years equivalent work experience.• Experience in instructional design, education, or a related field preferred. • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs in a technical or business environment. • Strong ability to develop instructional materials and curriculum that meet learning objectives. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and engagingly. • Experience with various training methodologies, including classroom instruction, online education, and blended learning. • Familiarity with automated training materials development, such as video recordings and computer-aided tutorials. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple training programs simultaneously. • Ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and integrate feedback into training programs. • Proficiency in using training and presentation software. Responsibilities: • Develop and conduct training and educational programs for both technical and non-technical personnel. • Create instructional curriculum and materials, ensuring content meets learning objectives and is engaging for participants. • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure courses are accurate and effective. • Organize and condense subject matter into clear and concise course outlines, handouts, and visual aids. • Administer the change control process for training materials, ensuring all content is up-to-date and relevant. • Maintain records of training activities, including participant progress and feedback, to assess program effectiveness. • Instruct courses or oversee the preparation and delivery of automated training materials, ensuring high-quality learning experiences. • Coordinate with users and systems development personnel to align training with current software releases and updates. • Monitor and report on the resolution of training-related issues, ensuring continuous improvement of training programs.
