G&G Fitness Equipment, a premier dealer of high-end fitness equipment for nearly 30 years, is looking for a Retail Sales Consultant (with advancement potential) to sell our fitness equipment at our Indianapolis location. This is an excellent opportunity for you to use your passion for fitness and athletics to make a great commission-enhanced income providing people with the tools they need to improve their lives through exercise. You will engage customers in consultative discussion about their needs and expectations in order to determine which of our exercise systems are right for them. Requirements Requirements As a Retail Sales Consultant, you must be self-motivated and confident, with a high degree of integrity and professionalism. You must also be a team player with the ability to accept and effectively incorporate coaching and feedback. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, with strong active-listening and persuasive skills and the ability to engage customers in a consultative sales approach.Specific qualifications for the Retail Sales Consultant position include: High school diploma or GED; some college, a plus Prior fitness experience; experience in high-end equipment sales, preferred Willingness to learn Strong customer-service skills Solid phone and follow-up skills Ability to identify and act upon up-selling opportunities Basic computer proficiency and the ability to use a variety of computer applications to track results (Excel, Word, email and internet) Mechanical and logistical aptitude and the ability to assemble fitness equipment on our showroom floor Ability to lift 40 pounds Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Athletics background, a plus Benefits Benefits:401(k) matchingEmployee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offGroup Rate: Health insurance Life insurance Vision insurance Dental insurance
