GPI seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer to provide a range of services as part of an integrated building services design team for our Metro NY office in Suffern, NY. We are seeking someone with a good work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work collectively with our team, and the ability to work on multiple concurrent projects. What You'll Be Doing: Providing system design calculations and other related design services including coordination with the other trades (architectural and engineering and/or internal and external) Preparing drawings detailing the system designed Leading project scheduling requirements, manpower requirements, and project budgets Mentoring and delegating tasks to junior staff Interfacing with clients (as required) and attending design meetings Performing construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects Selecting equipment and fixtures for use in the building What You Bring to the Table: BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required 10+ years' experience designing Mechanical HVAC Building Systems EIT required; PE is preferred Proficiency in AutoCAD required; Revit preferred Understanding of local building and Energy Codes required #Pando
