Volt is immediately hiring a Lab Research Chemist in Maplewood, MN with a well-known industry leader. The person hired for this position will assume leadership of technical programs of major importance to division interests involving scientific research/understanding, applied technology and process improvements. This is a first shift position. As a Lab Research Chemist, you will: * Be highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provide best practicing sharing within work group. * Worker will maintain a flow of major technical contributions such as material/product/process innovations and understandings. * Document and communicate these via Records of Invention, patents, internal reports, technical presentations and/or publications. * Identify, plan, and complete technical programs leading to innovative applications and extensions of existing and new technologies. * Establish extensive intra-divisional interactions and initiate inter-divisional interactions to develop a network of support. * Participate in technical strategic planning. * Document experimental data/observations in technical notebooks. This is a full time contingent opportunity. Estimated Duration 24+ months. The ideal candidate will have: * Bachelor of science degree or higher from an accredited institution * Lab Studies * Strategic Planning * Patents Pay Rate: $44.00-45.49 hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
