Role and Responsibilities: π Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the Critical Care Unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and optimizing patient care. π Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction. π Manage the department budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective operation. πΌ Foster a collaborative environment among staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. π€ Maintain high employee engagement and satisfaction through effective leadership, training, and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: π Bachelorβs Degree in Nursing required; enrolled in a program within 12 months if not already obtained. π Active RN license in the State of Alaska. β€οΈ American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. π§ββοΈ Minimum three years of nursing experience in ICU, including two years specializing in open-heart recovery. π Strong leadership, clinical, and organizational skills essential for success in this role. π» Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills to interpret data and propose solutions.
