In one sentence The Senior Tax Accountant is responsible for assisting with various local, state, and federal tax regulations, perform estimations, analysis, planning, and research and help with audits. Key Responsibilities: Prepare Federal and State income tax returns for Amdocs corporations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax laws.: Prepare and file Federal and State estimated tax payments and extensions.: Prepare and file various gross receipts and commercial activity tax returns and payments.: Manage calendar compliance due dates to ensure returns and payments are timely filed.: Respond to and resolve federal and state correspondence.: Stay up:to:date with changes in tax laws and regulations, providing insights and recommendations to optimize tax strategies.: Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information and documentation for tax filings.: Conduct tax research and analysis to address complex tax issues and provide strategic recommendations to minimize tax liabilities. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or relevant certification a plus.: Proven experience as a Tax Accountant, with a focus on corporate tax returns.: In:depth knowledge of Federal and State tax laws and regulations.: Strong analytical and problem:solving skills, with the ability to handle complex tax issues.: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team members, and external partners.: Detail:oriented with a commitment to delivering high:quality work within established deadlines.
