Assistant Production Manager Essential Functions: * Supervise production personnel, including delegation of work, evaluating, etc.* Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.* Verifies production counts from previous day.* Verifies first part production is ready.* Verifies all production paperwork and boards are properly filled out.* Acquire production packets as needed.* Prepare production staffing schedule in absence of production manager.* Fill in as needed when production supervisors are absent.* Run production and operate machinery as needed.* Monitor/document productivity of cell to meet/exceed standards, including controlling downtime and effectively utilizing employee time.* Exceed average standards of attendance.* Ensure safety guards and personal protective equipment are always used throughout the department.* Follow Work Instructions, procedures, and company policies, including safety procedures.* Maintain good housekeeping throughout the department. Assistant Production Manager Requirements: * Ability to sit for long periods of time* Ability to maneuver the facility* Ability to operate various office equipment, including a computer, phone, copier, & fax machine* Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience * Basic knowledge of computer skills, including Excel & Word* Ability to communicate with all levels of internal and external personnel* Ability to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructionsPay: $60,000-$80,000 yearly Based on ExperiencePIe261e49fb1d0-29448-33861161PDN-9bf1a678-644e-4dbd-986e-c39d9a1a07fa
