Summary Applicant must enjoy working with children.Dependable and reliable.Have good work ethics.Timely and accountable.Must work well with co-workers.Team player.Must be able to multitask.Take direction and constructive criticism. Duties *Work with lead or co-teacher in preparation for activities (getting out supplies, setting up stations, etc.) When necessary and numbers provide, the lead teacher may leave the children in your care to prepare/prep for later in the day and/or for the next day.* Participate in circle time. Redirect children to the circle time activity. Be prepared to handle disruptive children during circle time. Take cues from your lead.* Supervise children both in and out of the classroom.* Assist children with their needs such as with coats shoes etc. and potty.* Assist children with projects.* Clean up after projects; wipe tables and benches with Clorox clean-up or disinfecting wipes* Set tables and put out snacks and lunch; clean tables and benches with Clorox clean-up or disinfecting wipes, sweep under tables and benches. * Keep room stocked with supplies Cups, plates, napkins, paper towels, Trash bags, toilet paper Requirements High school diplomaCPR/First Aid certified (can work with you to obtain this prior to start date) Nice To Haves Working with children in a classroom setting preferred but not necessary.
