ANNOUNCEMENT OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Seasonal Maintenance Worker Recreation Services Part Time - Temporary (Not eligible for all benefits, will accrue paid sick time) Pay Range: $16.00 per hour FLSA Status: Non exempt, eligible for overtime compensation Deadline to Apply: 05/31/2024 Essential Duties: Performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled tasks including maintenance of all park facilities, janitorial duties, restroom cleaning is a must, trash pickup, weeding, raking, painting, and special events preparation and other duties as required. Incumbents recei v e gene r al supervision from a Lead Maintenance T echnician, Coordinator or Supervisor Minimum Q ualifications: Must be at least 17 years old at the time of hire and possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Must be able to perform physical work outdoors under all weather conditions. Ability to effectively and safely perform required duties and to safely operate required equipment and city vehicle as needed.
