The Sous Chef, Will assist the Head Chef in the Day to day management of the culinary operations at Sorrel River Ranch Resort and Spa. Job responsibilities* Daily walk throughs with check list to check pars, quality control, health compliance.* Heath department compliance oversite* Production pars and quality oversight* Execution of service in a timely manner. * Events oversight and execution * Ability to manage par levels by forecasting sales.* Understanding production of a scratch fine dining kitchen, stocks, reductions, emulsification, braising, etc.* Ability to minimize waste and spoilage * Experience in management, good track record, and the want to do something great in the culinary world. * Must be a good leader, have a good report with the team, and ability to work under pressure with the ability and since of urgency to make it happen.*Deep passion and understanding of guest service.
