About Us LV Concrete is a commercial/industrial concrete contractor serving clients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, and the surrounding communities . About Your Opportunity Form, Pour and finish all aspects of concrete construction. How You’ll Contribute Installing form work. Installing Rebar and Wire Mesh. Pouring Slabs, Footers, Walls, and Sidewalks Operating trowel machines walk behinds and riders. Hand screed and operate vibra screeds. Maintain bench elevation for screed work. Layout for saw cuts. Operate soff cutting saw. Application of hardening and sealing compounds Install anchor bolts and steel plates. Remove formwork from previously finished surfaces. Install various concrete accessories. Collaborate with team members. Work in a safe and organized manner. Skills Physical fitness: Concrete finishing is a physically demanding job that requires workers to be able to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in all weather conditions. Manual dexterity: Concrete finishers need to be able to use hand tools and power equipment accurately and efficiently. Problem-solving skills: Concrete finishing often requires workers to think on their feet and solve problems as they arise. Attention to detail: Concrete finishers need to be able to pay close attention to detail to ensure that their work meets specifications. Teamwork skills: Concrete finishers often work as part of a team and need to be able to communicate effectively with other workers. Qualifications 4 years of construction experience Knowledge of basic concrete tools and equipment Employee is expected to supply on his/her own and possess at work certain tools, a list of which will be provided by LV Concrete Additional Requirements Valid Driver’s License or r eliable transportation Machines/Tools/Equipment: Carry out tasks utilizing hand tools including the following: shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, drills, floats, trowels, brooms, etc. Carry out tasks utilizing power equipment including the following: jack hammers, skid loaders, chipping guns, motorized wheelbarrows, concrete pumps, etc. Safety Sensitive Safety-Sensitive positions are any jobs that include tasks or duties that the employer reasonably believes could affect the safety and health of the employee performing the task or others. This job is a Safety-Sensitive position.
