Location: Shelby: Shelby Township, MI,United States (US)Employment Status: Salary Full:Time Sr. Analyst Financial Planning and Analyst Position Summary: This position supports the business activities of the site including areas related to financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and supporting the accounting functions provided by the LEA Shared Services Center (SSC) as well as maintaining a strong internal control structure. The person in the position must have a proven financial and accounting background to ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations issued by Federal, State and local government. This position has contact with the Sr. Finance manager, Fori Automation, local site departments (Operations, Project Management, etc.), and Management as well as various corporate departments, customers, and vendors. The major challenges to this position are supporting the site Finance Manager in coordinating the objectives of Business Partnering with Management and the Shared Service Center, maintaining a high quality and cost effective professional organization. This person will be hands on. Primary responsibilities :Prepare analysis and support to ensure proper project accounting treatment of revenue recognition on both a percentage:of:completion and completed contract basis. Specifically leading the reporting of job costing, Work In Process reporting, and labor and overhead reporting. : Collect, prepare and evaluate analysis to support recommendations to Management and LEA Finance to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency.: Apply an understanding of the financial reporting, general ledger and departmental structures for the Fori US site in alignment with all other LEA sites. :Interface with other departments to verify transaction reporting data and issues.: Support the resolution of accounting issues, vendor payments, non:routine transactions, invoicing, and other items as required.: Support the Fori US business platform development and implementation. The platform includes specific reporting and tools (ie Salesforce, Smartsheet, Epicor, HFM, RPA, etc.): Support the budgeting, forecasting, pricing, capital investments, inventory management, and departmental cost activities as well as ad hoc analyses. : Support accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close reporting.: Perform special projects as needed or directed by management, operations and finance management.: Work in coordination with management and SSC to maintain proper accounting methods, policies and principles in accordance with GAAP, Corporate Reporting Standards, and Internal Controls: Support internal and external audit requests, as needed.
