Req ID 67351 | Auburn Hills, United States What you can look forward to as a Category Manager: Manage the release of new products and develop new projects through to production, working closely with customers, support teams and the sales organization Develop/present business cases for assigned product category with project management and identify new opportunities to grow sales and margins using market/product intelligence to drive key business decisions Ensure key customer requirements are understood, prioritized, and translated into product specifications or service needs Ensure service readiness through product/marketing support for product and key customer teams Maintain effective contacts with, and coordinate actions with project management, marketing communications, engineering, operations, quality assurance, product performance, sales functions. Be the market expert on assigned products, developing targeted price points, maintaining profitable margins, and developing USP's. Drive Reman mindset for long term service readiness. Maintain master data and deployment to customer center for assigned category Attend and represent ZF at major aftermarket shows, promotional events, and customer interactions. Your Profile as a Category Manager: Bachelors degree and 6-8+ years of experience; extensive experience will be considered in lieu of degree Automotive aftermarket experience required Understanding of category management, marketing and branding, customer requirements and trends Comfortable in presenting to large, diverse groups of people.
