The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of relevant experience in private offerings, general venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions. The candidate should possess a keen interest in and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses, excellent academic credentials, and superior communication skills.Job Duties:Provide legal counsel and support on blockchain and cryptocurrency-related matters.Assist in structuring and negotiating private offerings and venture capital transactions.Advise on general corporate transactions for tech companies.Conduct due diligence for blockchain and crypto-related investments and partnerships.Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Stay updated on regulatory developments and advise clients on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support.Represent clients in meetings, negotiations, and other legal proceedings as needed.Develop and maintain client relationships to support business development efforts.Requirements:2-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, specifically in private offerings, venture capital, and corporate transactions.Demonstrated interest and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses.Membership to the State Bar of WV.Excellent academic credentials.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in the State Bar of West Virginia.Skills:In-depth knowledge of blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.Proficiency in corporate law and transaction structuring.Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Superior communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail and organizational skills.Benefits:Elective health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Robust mental well-being benefits.Child, family, elder, and pet care benefits.Short- and long-term disability benefits.Health savings account (with applicable medical plan) and flexible spending accounts.Long-term care insurance.401K program.Flexible Time Off program, generous parental leave benefits, and paid holidays.
