We are currently seeking an Application Support Analyst to join our team at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, NY - supporting IT Applications for various business units throughout the organization including Turning Stone, YBR and Point Place Casinos, Maple Leaf Markets, and Savon Convenience Stores as well as our golf courses, off-site properties, police department, and other entities. We are currently seeking a Computer Engineer to join our IT/Innovation team. Summary: The Computer Engineer's role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. They will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion; and provide end user training and assistance where required. Duties & Responsibilities : Effectively works with end users to identify and deliver required PC service levels and installs, configures, tests, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots end user workstation hardware, networked peripheral devices, and networking hardware products Develops and maintains an inventory of all monitors, keyboards, hard drives, modems, printers, scanners, and other peripheral equipment. Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages, and/or e-mails regarding PC and/or hardware problems Maintains up-to-date knowledge of hardware and equipment contracts; supervises contract-based installations Collaborates with third-party support and PC equipment vendors when necessary Aids in the development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Maintains current knowledge of plan executables and responds to crises in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans Provides guidance to junior members of the team as required Accurately documents instances of hardware failure, repair, installation, and removal Constructs, installs, and tests customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems Minimum Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field; or at least three years related work experience Must have working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, and standards. Possesses the ability to operate tools, components, and peripheral accessories At least one year related work experience in the Casino, Hospitality or Entertainment industry; or other high volume, complex, demanding customer oriented IT environments Possesses strong written and oral communication skills and i s able to present ideas in user-friendly language Demonstrates understanding of the organization's goals and objectives while p ossessing keen attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Strong customer-service orientation Must have or be willing and able to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance Work Conditions: On-call availability Schedule: 4PM to 12:30AM We offer excellent benefits including, but not limited to medical, dental, vision, flex/HSA, 401K w/matching.
