CSM Flooring, a full-service flooring company since 1977 with offices in Greensboro, Burlington, and Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking a Business Development / Outside Sales Specialist to help expand and grow as we redefine standards of excellence for flooring clients in the markets we serve. ROLE DESCRIPTION: The Business Development / Outside Sales Specialist will work to grow CSM Flooring’s business by developing high-touch relationships with home builders, commercial and general contractors, real estate agents, property managers, and the like throughout the Piedmont Triad, Burlington, and coastal Wilmington areas. Strategically develop plans of action for growth in underutilized markets/lines of business. Network with stakeholders via industry events Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services as well as the floor-covering industry overall Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Use this information to make informed business decisions and contribute to developing marketing strategies Collaborate with marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure communication and alignment of business objectives Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in business development, preferably within the flooring industry. A strong network of contacts in the flooring business, including Vendors, A&D Firms, and General Contractors. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Salary: $65,000 - 125,000 per year, dependent on experience and proven track record of building a book of business. Powered by JazzHR
